Braids - Native Speaker (2011)


Receiving a lot of comparisons to Animal Collective from a lot of very confused critics, Braids debut album is nonetheless a treat. Iron and Wine - Kiss Each other Clean

Set for release on Jan 25, the highly anticipated release from Iron and Wine is titled Kiss Each Other Clean. The first single 'Walking Far From Home' surfaced some time ago, and after a first listen it is the perfect beginning to the new album. Again redefining the grand scope of Iron and Wine, Kiss Each Other Clean also manages to feel intimate enough to remind us of Sam Beam's humble musical beginnings. Very reminiscent of 70's pop rock. This is one of the biggest 2011 releases thus far.

Papercuts - Do What You Will



Papercuts just dropped their latest single 'Do What You Will' in preparation for their Sub Pop debut Fading Parade. The follow-up to 2009's You Can Have What You Want is due on March 1st. On Feb. 1st, Sub Pop will be releasing a 7" in support of the single and including b-side 'Thoughts on Hell.'
